Not at all. ClubGuru is designed for volunteers, not IT experts. Most tasks take just a few clicks, and there is nothing to install — it runs in your web browser on any device.

Yes. Every club gets a polished public website at clubguru.org/your-club, with no design or coding required. Share news, events, your meeting place, and a Donate button with your community.

ClubGuru keeps your member roster and a simple CRM in one place, and you can set your dues amounts, run your public renewal page and see every payment that comes in. Full dues invoicing — raising and sending invoices, receipts, adjustments and letting members pay online — is part of the AccountGuru add-on ($19/month). Without AccountGuru you still track dues; you invoice them your own way.

Yes. Members can pay dues securely online through ClubGuru, and their status updates automatically when they renew. Your treasurer can also record cash or check payments manually.

Yes. With AccountGuru ($19/month) your treasurer connects the club’s bank once, through the bank’s own secure sign-in, and every transaction arrives in a review queue by itself. Nothing is posted to your books without the treasurer’s click: a deposit that is already in the books is matched, a new expense is posted with its category, and Stripe payouts are matched to the card payments inside them. When the statement comes, Reconcile opens with the ending balance already worked out and every bank-verified transaction ticked. The bank feed is included in AccountGuru — no extra charge and no per-pull fees. Your bank login never touches ClubGuru.

AccountGuru helps two ways. First, for free: whenever the difference isn’t $0.00, a button called Why isn’t this $0.00? gathers every fact behind it from your own books — the rows that add up to the difference, bank lines still waiting or excluded, transactions set aside, rows not ticked, finished statements — each with the button that fixes it. Second, if it still isn’t clear, Ask AccountGuru: an AI accountant reads those same facts and the AccountGuru manual and tells you the cause and the clicks, in plain words. That costs 25 tokens, about 25 cents, shown on the button before you click and charged only when it answers. AccountGuru never changes your books — you do the clicking. The same help sits on the Overview (Explain the leftover) and on any bank line (What is this?).
